The meeting will begin on Sunday, August 30, 2009 with registration in the afternoon. The first session will start at 17:00 followed by the welcome reception. The meeting will conclude after lunch on Wednesday, September 2, 2009.
The IKS2009 Meeting will take place in the Lecture Halls of the Medical Campus of the Technical University of Munich (Klinikum rechts der Isar). The venue is located close to the underground station Max-Weber-Platz ("U-Bahn" lines U4 and U5). Angelo Designhotel and Motel One (see also Accommodation) are within walking distance (10-15 min) to the Conference venue. Otherwise please use the public transport system (MVV) for transport from / to the Conference Venue. Network maps and timetables are available online.
When collecting your registration documents, you will receive a personalized badge. During the symposium, the badge should be clearly visible at all times; it grants access to the scientific sessions, the welcome reception, lunch and coffee breaks, and the poster session with beer & pretzels, wine & cheese.
Official delegates to the symposium will receive a Certificate of Attendance along with the symposium documents.
The Organizing Committee and HR+C Medical accept no liability for any injuries/losses incurred by participants and/or accompanying persons, nor loss or damage to any luggage and/or personal belongings. Participants are adviced to care for their own personal insurance.
The official language of the symposium is English. No simultaneous translation is provided.
Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to entering Germany.
On request, the Symposium Office (office@IKS2009.de) will send letters of invitation to individual attendees. Invitations of this kind are intended to assist delegates to raise travel funds or to obtain a visa. They do not imply any commitment or responsibility of the symposium organizers to provide financial support.
